Is it okay to use cheat codes on old school video games or not?

I have a question to ask all gamers and/or viewers who play or watch video game streams:
If I were to stream an old school video game, is it okay to use cheat codes to beat it or will I lose viewers if I did?
For an example:
Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction for PS2. I have this game for years and I beat it by using infinite health and infinite ammo. When I start streaming Twitch in the future, I want to beat it again. However, is it okay to use Infinite health and ammo or play it without using any cheats?
I asked this because I remembered there was a YouTube video about gamers and streamers caught cheating by playing games with mods and end up getting roasted online for it, but most of the games featured where online FPS games, but no retro ones.
